What does courage look like to you, fellow patriots? One heroic wounded warrior posed that question in a now viral tweet calling out Meryl Streep.
Meryl Streep ranted from inside her liberal bubble during the Golden Globes, making factual error after factual error when referencing the president-elect’s previous comments. Few in the room seemed to care she misrepresented his quotes. Hollywood celebrity peers rushed to praise her for her courage and bravery for lambasting the next president of the United States on stage, but one of our veterans had no praise for Streep!
I too hope to one day be as courageous and selfless as Meryl Streep. pic.twitter.com/aQm8tdwayu

An Iraq War veteran who lost his arm and some fingers on his remaining arm had it with the liberal love fest over Streep’s “courage.” His now viral tweet clearly defines exactly what it means to serve your country and be a true depiction of bravery.
Salzman lost his arm during an EFP attack in Iraq. The armor-penetrating device is known as one of the most vicious and deadly weapons of modern warfare.
“His right arm was severed below the elbow, and his left hand was pulverized by the blast. He also suffered a traumatic brain injury. As he is allergic to morphine, he was transported to a field hospital before any anesthetic was given,” states the description of what happened to J.R. Salzman on the veteran’s website.
Before losing his arm while serving his country, Salzman was a world champion log roller and a prominent “outdoors athlete.” He won ten world titles in log rolling and boom running, a sprint on floating logs, during all six seasons of ESPN’s Great Outdoor Games.
The wounded warrior won a grand total of 14 medals, more than any other player. In 2005, he was awarded an ESPY Award for Best Outdoor Sports Athlete. He is tied for the honor of holding the most world titles in his sport. He also used his outdoor skills as a stuntmen for the movie Cheaper By The Dozen 2.
J.R. Salzman left his outdoors elite athlete dreams behind quickly after the September 11, 2001 attacks. He felt compelled to enlist in the military and go fight the radical Islamic terrorists who launched an attack on American soil.
Exactly what has Meryl Streep done? Memorized lines from a script and read them in front of a camera.
“We will need a lot of people as clear and brave as Meryl Streep if we are to fight the corruption, bad ideas, and lies of Donald Trump,” movie producer Judd Apatow said about Streep’s Golden Globes rant.
Ten years ago, when J.R. Salzman was lying in a hospital bed coming to terms with the loss of his arm, Meryl Steep was basking the glow of Hollywood while walking the red carpet to a premiere for her latest movie, The Devil Wears Prada. I would rather have ONE J.R. Salzman in our country than hundreds of Meryl Streeps!
